Common Mercedes Auto Repair Problems

The Mercedes-Benz brand is synonymous with luxury and elegance. This German auto manufacturer has been at the forefront of automobile innovation for years. However, just like any other vehicle the Mercedes-Benz requires regular service and maintenance to keep it performing at its best. When your Mercedes needs repair, you need a European auto shop that knows how to treat your vehicle with the respect it deserves. Whether your vehicle is an SUV, sedan or convertible, our technicians have the expertise and tools to diagnose any issues your Mercedes may be experiencing.

Mercedes-Benz vehicles are engineered and built to last but as the miles pile on, your Mercedes will start to show its age. The most common Mercedes issues include:

Problem: Transmission Oil Seal Leaks

Oftentimes, older Mercedes-Benz  vehicles will develop transmission oil leaks. Our Mercedes Auto Repair specialists will identify the source of the leak and perform a complete inspection. We will then remove the transmission pan and replace the seals. We will also reseal the Mercedes transmission to prevent future leaks.

Problem: SL Active Body Control System Fluid Leaks

The Mercedes-Benz SL Active Body Control System contains hydraulic lines and hoses that can leak fluid. The leaking fluid can damage the undercarriage of your vehicle and lead to environmental damage. The problem can occur in any of the up to 12 hydraulic cylinders that are used to raise and lower the suspension. Typically, the leaking cylinders are located under the rear of your vehicle. The leaking fluid can be difficult to locate but our Mercedes-Benz repair experts will find the source of the leak and repair it before the damage spreads.

Problem: AC Evaporator Temperature Sensor Fault

The evaporator temperature sensor in the Mercedes-Benz AC system can fail. Symptoms include erratic air conditioning performance or the AC system will not blow cold air. This is a common problem for Mercedes owners and can be easily diagnosed with a diagnostic test. Our Mercedes auto repair experts will repair or replace the AC evaporator temperature sensor at a fraction of what the dealer charges.
